And you thought you had it all figured out...

My post is a little late but here it is….

The Colts lost to the Chargers, the Vikings get shut out by Green Bay, the Saints lose to the previously winless Rams, and Rex brings sexy back to Oakland. What's going to happen next? Will Miami beat Philly this upcoming week? NFL fans pretty much have it figured out, minus one or two surprises during the season, right? Wrong. Nothing is guaranteed in football. Nothing is guaranteed in the NFL. I first realized this on Saturday while sitting poolside drinking a nice Pina Colada at the Hilton in Las Vegas. The Illini were playing the Buckeyes and instead of hopping into the hot tub I decided to watch the end of the game. To my surprise, "Juice" Williams and the unranked Illini were able to defeat the #1 ranked College team in the country.
Games like the Ohio State vs. Illinois math-up happen more often in College Football, but as we saw in Week 10 of the NFL, things can change within an instant. Take for example, the Bears vs. Raiders game. The two teams were tied for most of the game until Rex Grossman threw a 59-yard touchdown pass to Bernard Berrian. A few hours earlier Sexy Rexy was sitting on the bench. On Sunday, Rex will be the starting quarterback. The Bears vs. Raiders match-up wasn’t the only game that illustrated the unpredictable nature of the NFL. After having the best game of his career, Adrian Peterson feel victim to a knee injury on the field when the Minnesota Vikings played the Green Bay Packers. AP will be OK, but once again this shows us that nothing in the NFL can be taken for granted.
A win is not handed to a team; it is earned. The Saint found this out the hard way and so did a few other teams. NFL players have to be roll with the punches and prepare themselves for anything. Hey, to say it politely, crab happens! Supposedly my friend’s grandfather blamed everything on Cholera and if you know the symptoms of Cholera, you’ll have to agree with him. There will be at least one more upset this season and my beats are that the Steelers will be invloved. So get your tissue ready (to wipe away the tears of course) because this week your team may suffer an unexpected loss.

Yeah, the Steelers were involved in an upset alright... being upset by the freaking Jets!!!! WTF is up with that?!?!

Grrrr, I'm so furious right now I can't even tell you...

If we don't draft some O-Linemen early in the draft next year Tomlin will be getting some angry phone calls from Steelers fans.
